We shall win the match in the second half

There is no such thing as “a level playing field” in trade. For the last forty-seven years the opportunity cost of joining the EEC has been that the playing field has sloped towards our goalposts and the other EEC/EU countries have exploited the fact to our detriment.

Halftime is now over, we’re changing ends and we should develop to the full the potential competitive advantage provided by freeing ourselves from the strait jacket of the dying EU.

No FTA with the EU is worth sacrificing full control over our exclusive economic zone or freedom from the jurisdiction of the European Court of Injustice.

English Lives Matter.
