The magic money-go-round

Let me see if I understand this correctly.

In brief: we spend fourteen billion pounds a year of taxpayers’ money on ‘aid’ to foreign governments, many of whom are guilty of appalling human rights violations and are the antithesis of democratic, in order that they may then use the money to bribe and corrupt our own elected politicians.

Furthermore, it’s not even money we have in the bank. It’s money we have to borrow, mortgaging the future of our young people in order to do so.

Meanwhile our public services, such as the NHS, schools and police, are starved of resources, our armed forces are weakened, our pensioners forced to choose between heating and eating and our industry bought up by foreign interests.

Make sense? No, I thought not.

English Lives Matter.
